Although the line(s) of my great grandmother do not involve conversion to the LDS faith on the Isle of Man, she always mantained that her lineage was from the House of Stanley on the Isle of Man. Her name is Sarah Stanley (1824) dau. of Thomas Stanley (1786) son of Thomas Stanley (1760). These three generations of Stanleys centered in Glocester and Worcester shires in England.
