Glad to finally find a detailed banner! I am a direct descendant of David H. Cannon on my mother's side. Your website is very informative---it always surprises me how large our "family" is!

Nice site. I have many ancesters from the Isle of Man that I have been researching over the years. I will be there again during the month of July 08. Could you email me the locations for the LDS Church and meeting times. Some of our family names are: Comish, Keig, Duccan, Clucas, Quail, Waterson.
I would love to hear from anyone interested in exchanging information.

Although the line(s) of my great grandmother do not involve conversion to the LDS faith on the Isle of Man, she always mantained that her lineage was from the House of Stanley on the Isle of Man. Her name is Sarah Stanley (1824) dau. of Thomas Stanley (1786) son of Thomas Stanley (1760). These three generations of Stanleys centered in Glocester and Worcester shires in England. If someone has informationthat may involve these names or a link to the Stanleys of the Isle of Man, please contact me.

My husband is a direct descendant of Edward Callister. Edward is his great (X3) grandfather. I am just learning about the Isle of man and the conversion there - very interesting.

My great-grandmother was Margaret Kewley. She, along with her parents James and Ann Kewley and her brothers Robert and Thomas emigrated on the Horizon as part of the Mrtin Handcart Company. I have been gathering information and writing about them for a number of years. I would be interested in talking to anyone with similar interests.
