My Father, George Henry Robinson, was born 1896 on the Isle. The eldest in his family, he moved to Liverpool with his birth family when they were adults.
I do intend to visit as it seems EVERYONE I meet has been there, except me!
His father is Frederick George Robinson, his mother Margaret Isabella Peckham, whose father, Henry William Peckham, [born New Forest, Hampshire] married Manx lass Margaret Jane Kneen and was a Fishmonger in Douglas in 1880.
I'm excited to have this opportunity to make contacts via this site. Hoping someone out there may be related, or have a memory or useful fact for me. I'll keep checking back.
I joined the church in Liverpool in 1971 and it's been the greatest thing I could ever have done.

My wife and I are serving a senior mission in Great Britain for the church's Public Affairs. We serve and live in Solihull in the Midlands. In 2008 we visited the Isle of Man and loved our visit. I noticed a page of "Creers" in the phone book. Also my Creer forbearers came from the Isle to Preston and were some of the first converts in the church in the 1840s. There is a large family of Creers in Utah and I have 6 children and 22 grandchildren. I would love to know if there are Creers in he church on the Isle?

I just found out about your web site and will appreciate anything you write about the Church there. My ancestor Jane Littlewood was from the Isle of Man. Anything you know about that family would be interesting. Thanks for all your work.

Thank you so much for the wonderful web site! I am a Research Missionary for the Church working on Church Records for the FamilySearch Research Wiki, and found your site. I have loved reading over the information on the Saints in the Isle of Man, and information about the island itself. Now to try and figure out where this great site would fit in the Research Wiki! Thank you so much, I can see all the work you have put into the site. Yours in Christ, Sister Seipert
